The Skinny
This piece was something I commissioned from the talents of Shira-hedgie . She got it done in just a few hours, maybe she's the fastest thing alive!?
The two in the picture here are my partner's character Karahl and my take on Sonic known as Spotlight Sonic. The two started off on a Sonic RP site set in a SATAM style universe, and went on to become the lead characters of their own comic book called RUSH! Sonic inspired a super hero called Bolt and Karahl became a little bit more sassy to provide fun banter between the two. 

Meaning Behind the Picture
I had this picture drawn to commemorate what marked the end of their story arc on Sonic Spotlight (The Rp Site) They had been through so many adventures, battles and emotional turmoil together but like all good things it must come to an end. The Sonic Spotlight Roleplay had given me so much joy, made me so many friends and taught me valuable things about writing and developing characters while offering a proving ground to test out characters that would later become mainstays of my comic book series. The relationship of Sonic and Karahl along with the setting of Spotlight inspired me so much I adapted it into it's own entire universe. The picture here details Sonic and Karahl standing victorious over Dr. Robotnik & Metal Sonic, this was in reference to the final foe of the RP being Robotnik and defeated for good. After his fall Robotnik was sentenced to an eternity in an empty realm known only as The Void. Here they stand together united as the first picture I had drawn of these two displayed them flirting and fighting as a callback to how they met in the RP. I got these pictures as mementos of all the wonderful times Sonic Spotlight had given me. Now putting it behind me and moving onto bigger and better things, I love how many great ideas can come out of a great setting RP and good friends. Thank you to everybody who took part in Sonic Spotlight I hope you enjoyed your time with us & a special thank you to NovaBrush for letting me use Karahl in the comic book.  If I had any advice to give out of all this it would be RP sites are a great place to test out ideas and characters, and always follow your dreams.
